How to Create a Widget Form

We will guide you through the process of creating a form to be displayed within the chatbot.

  1. From the Facility Management Screen, go to [Chat] → [Widget].

  2. Click on “New Widget” located at the top left.

Enter a title in the Widget Name field.

Note: This is for management purposes only and will not be displayed on the user screen.

Enter the Field Name and Field Type for each input you want to add to the form.

  • Field Name: The question or label shown to the user (e.g., “Contact Email”, “Preferred Date”).

  • Field Type: The format in which you want to collect the response.

  • Required: Choose whether the input is optional or mandatory.

[Form Field Types]

  • Small Text: Creates a single-line text input field.

  • Large Text: Creates a multi-line text input field.

  • Email Text: Specifically for collecting email addresses.

  • Date Picker: Allows the user to select a date.

  • Time Picker: Allows the user to select a time.

  • Dropdown List: User selects one option from a list.

  • Multiple Selection: User can select more than one option.

  • Yes/No: User can choose either Yes or No.

  • Integer: Only whole numbers can be entered.

You can repeat this process to add multiple fields to your form.

Click [Save] to complete the setup.

Setting Up in the Custom Bot

Go to [Chat] → [Bot].

Select [Create Bot].

Select [Collect User Input].

Select the widget you created from [Choose from existing templates].

When configured as shown in the image above, it will be displayed as shown below.

Please note that the text size entered by the customer cannot be changed.
