The implementation instructions will open. Click the button to copy the GTM setup code for the <head>
tag to your clipboard.
Paste the GTM setup code that you copied earlier into the <head>
tag field.
Return to the GTM screen and this time, copy the GTM code for the <body>
tag to your clipboard.
Return to the tripla management screen, paste the GTM setup code into the <body>
tag field, and click the "Save" button.
Now, when tripla Book is launched, the configured GTM container will be triggered.
Next, click on Data Layer Settings.
Click [Save].
Even if there are no changes, the data will not be saved, and events will not be triggered unless you click [Save].
Please make sure to click [Save].
At this stage, the events required for funnel analysis are not yet triggered.
Next, we will proceed with the necessary settings to enable these events.
This file is the standard event configuration file provided by tripla.
When the [Import Container] screen opens, click [Select Container File] and choose the GTM_triplaEvent.json file that you previously saved on your local PC.
To make it clear, enter "triplaEvent" as the workspace name and click the Save button.
Click the Confirm button.
You will be returned to the top screen. Confirm that the current workspace is set to "triplaEvent".
When you click on the "Tags" menu, you will see the imported tags displayed.
Set the GA4 Measurement ID that you want to track and click Save.
For instructions on how to create a GA4 Measurement ID, please refer to the link below.
Click the "Publish" button at the top right of the screen to open the "Submit Changes" screen.
Once you're on this screen, click the "Publish" button to trigger the triplaEvent.
A confirmation screen will appear once the process is completed.
After completing the above settings, events will start firing.
Next, to verify that the configured events are firing, check the screen as follows:
Click on "Workspace".
Once the Workspace screen is open, click the "Preview" button.
Enter the site URL and click the "Connect" button.
The homepage will load, so return to the original screen and click the "Continue" button.
Multiple containers will be displayed. Select the GA Measurement ID set up in GTM.
Please note that the GTM code will vary by facility. Choose the one that starts with [G].
Return to the opened homepage and open the search page.
tripla Book will open.
At this point, return to the GTM Tag Assistant page.
You will see that triplaEvent is displayed. Click on it to proceed.
On the search results page, the parameters for triplaEvent will be displayed in a list.
You will see various parameters being retrieved. As you scroll down, you will notice that the page_category, which is required for funnel analysis of the reservation flow, is displayed.
With the GTM setup complete and triplaEvent confirmed to be firing, the next step is to configure the event in the GA4 console to enable funnel analysis.
If the Search Result is not displayed, it may be due to the Data Layer settings not being saved as mentioned earlier. Please ensure that the Data Layer settings are correctly saved to resolve this issue.
First, go to "Admin" > "Custom Definitions" and create a Custom Dimension.
In the Custom Dimension edit screen, enter and select the following, then click Save:

Next, select "Explore" in GA4.
Select "Blank Exploration".
Set the Exploration Name to any desired name, and select "Funnel Exploration" as the method.
Scroll down to the "Tag Configuration" section, and you will see a box labeled "Steps". Select that box.
In Step 1, enter "Search Results", and then click "Add New Condition".
Select triplaEvent from the Event list.
